1. Service
SteamTech Power Wash provides a mobile trash/waste bin cleaning for both residential and commercial trash bins. We provide residential and commercial power/surface washing service. Customer’s credit card will not be charged until service has been performed with the exception of initial service and pre-pay annual subscription.
2. Customer Responsibilities
In order for Steam Tech Power Wash
to provide its services, the customer must abide by the following conditions, or service could be interrupted or postponed.
- Trash bin(s) must be free of
- un-bagged trash and animal waste. Bins containing unbagged feces will not be cleaned.
- chemicals, oils, any petroleum-based products, oil-based paint, glue or other adhesive, or a hazardous waste of any kind.
- building materials, e.g., plaster, stucco, or concrete
- There may be certain stains or markings that we cannot remove during the clean i.e. paint, physical scratches on the plastic; however, we will do our best to get your bin as clean as possible!
- Leftover items in your bin: before the cleaning process begins, each bin is checked for any remaining debris or damage. If there is any trash remaining in your bin, after trash collection has been made, we will bag any remaining trash and place it back into your trash bin after our cleaning process has completed. If we declare your bin isn’t able to be cleaned due to damage etc., we will notify you via text/e-mail.
- Trash bin(s) must be empty and available by the curb or alley. Steam Tech Power Wash is not permitted to enter into any gated residences or garages to obtain or return trash bins for insurance reasons.
- A vacation hold may be placed on service. The customer must notify Steam Tech Power Wash by phone or email 7 days before scheduled service. The service will be temporarily suspended for the time period up to 2 weeks as set by the customer, and the customer will not be charged until service resumes.
If any of the above conditions are not met, Steam Tech Power Wash will not perform the service(s) and the customer is still responsible for payment.
NOTE: Steam Tech Power Wash will not clean damaged bins i.e. holes, cracks, broken handles, etc. A note will be placed on the bin(s) and a picture will be sent to the customer via email and/or text.
3. Steam Tech Responsibilities
Steam Tech Power Wash will schedule the customer’s service on a pre-planned route and notify the customer a week before, and the day before service via email and/or text message depending on their preference in the customer portal. Steam Tech Power Wash will attempt to service all bins on its pre-planned route. Once the customer’s bins have been serviced, the customer will be invoiced, and their stored credit card will be automatically charged for the service unless this is the customer’s first service or has signed up for a pre-paid plan.
If Steam Tech Power Wash is unable to provide its service(s) on the scheduled day due to inclement weather, vehicle maintenance, unforeseen events or otherwise, it will make every attempt to notify the customer in advance and reschedule the customer to the next available opportunity. Due to route scheduling conflicts and/or extended inclement weather, the service may be postponed until the following scheduled service date. We will cease normal operations if the high temperature for that day is near or below freezing or due to hazardous road conditions. The customer will not be charged if the service cannot be performed due to inclement weather or vehicle maintenance.
4. Charges
The customer agrees to pay all charges for the service(s) and any applicable taxes. Steam Tech Power Wash reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Changes in pricing will be communicated to the customer via updates to the website and/or email 14 days before changes occur. It is the customer’s right to choose to continue or discontinue the service at any time. The service will continue on a recurring basis until canceled by the customer. Customer may request a change to the selected service plan 7 days in advance of next service; however, to cancel service, you will need to provide a 14 day notification.
Service-Based Payment (Pay as you go):
- Customer must have a Debit Card or Credit Card stored on file and have accepted automatic future charges.
- Customer will be billed after each completed service visit with the exception of the first visit.
- Customer is responsible for paying for the service requested regardless of the number of bins present and available for cleaning.
- Payment is automatically collected after each service.
- A receipt will be sent to the customer via email after each service.
- Service is ongoing until customer cancels service.
Pre-Payment:
- Customer must have a Debit Card or Credit Card stored on file and have accepted automatic future charges.
- Pre-Payment is available for 1 season periods.
- Pre-Payment charges will be made in advance of the first cleaning.
- Customer is responsible for paying for the service requested regardless of the number of bins present and available for cleaning.
- Service is ongoing until the customer cancels service.
Steam Tech Power Wash will utilize industry leaders in payment processing to safely and securely store customer’s credit card information. Customer’s card will be run automatically after service, and a receipt will be sent via email.
5. Modifications to Terms and Conditions and/or Customer Agreement
Steam Tech Power Wash reserves the right to modify and/or amend the Terms and Conditions and/or the Customer Agreement at any time by posting a revised Terms and Conditions and/or the Customer Agreement at www.washmybin.ca, and/or sending information regarding the amendment to the email address you provided to www.washmybin.ca.
6. Modifications to Service
Steam Tech Power Wash reserves the right to modify the service at any time for the betterment of our customers and the overall success of the service program.
7. Default Payments
Steam Tech Power Wash reserves the right to suspend or terminate your service without notice upon rejection of any credit or debit card charges, or if the customer’s card issuer (or its agent or affiliate) seeks return of payments previously made to Steam Tech Power Wash. Such rights are in addition to and not in lieu of any other legal rights or remedies available to Steam Tech Power Wash.
8. Cancellation of Subscription Service
Non prepayment customers may cancel a subscription service at any time. If subscription
cancellation occurs after only one cleaning visit, the customer will be charged the minimum service fee which is the equivalent of the One Time Cleaning Rate for the number of bins cleaned. Cancellation must occur 14 days in
advance of the next scheduled service date. Cancellation notice is required via
telephone. Pre-payment clients refunds are not issued for cancellation of service.
9. Customer Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent customer’s personal identification information to others. Steam Tech utilizes industry leading PCI compliant credit card information storage through their
payment processor.
10. Sanitization and Disinfection
The customer understands that Steam Tech Power Wash high pressure hot water is a great defense against germs and the environments they thrive in, but that Steam Tech Power Wash cannot guarantee the complete elimination of all contagions within, around and on garbage bins. Steam Tech Power Wash will make all reasonable efforts to sanitize and disinfect to the best of their ability but makes no claims to prevent disease and/or the spread of contagions.
